Question by Kate: Any ideas where I can find a modest & casual wedding dress for under 0?
Any ideas where I can find a modest (short or capped sleeve) casual (mid or tea length) wedding dress for under $ 100? I am looking for something white that is relatively simple. Preferably something that would look good on a tall thin woman.

    Check with chain bridal stores-a lot have racks of discontinued style dresses they sell at steep discounts. If you find one you like for cheap enough you can spend a little extra getting it altered to fit you and your vision. Also keep an eye out on websites like Craigslist. You can score a used dress for super cheap, have it cleaned and altered for less than buying one new.

    My recommendation would be to try 3 places:

    1. David’s Bridal (if there’s one nearby) or http://www.davidsbridal.com

    2. Craigslist (you never know!) http://www.craigslist.com

    3. eBay (again, you just never know what’s there) http://www.ebay.com

    The last 2 can be hit or miss obviously, but you should at least be able to get close to your budget of $ 100 at David’s Bridal.
