Long sleeve bridesmaid dresses?
Question by : Long sleeve bridesmaid dresses?
Does anyone know of an online store that sells long sleeve bridesmaid dresses, or at least with some sort of sleeve? I’m not looking for ugly old-fashioned dresses, but my wedding dress is like a princess gown with long, flowing, see-through sleeves, and I’d like to find bridesmaid dresses that would complement that nicely.

Why do you want your maids to look like you?
You are the bride. You should stand out. Let them wear a sheer shawl.

Shawls and bouquets are a lot to keep up with at once. Dresses with sleeves are not easy to find right now. Perhaps you can have them made by a good dressmaker in your area.

You could always try to find a dress that has thicker straps (sleeveless) and see if you can find a tailor that will add lacy or see-through sleeves. Also, gloves may be another option.
Hope you find what you’re looking for!

I think I know the style you are talking about. Like a renaissance style with flowy sleeves. You should have the bridesmaids compliment you but not match. They don’t necessarily need the same style sleeves. They can use a jacket if you want.
How about something like this – http://www.barijay.com/style.php?coll=barijay&showid=730

also look into “mother of the bride” styles. Those dresses tend to have sleeves more often than not.
